Hello, we are Emma Skillings and Tamsyn Church, owners of Kelsall Pet & Home Care.
A bit about us
Emma lives in Oscroft with her husband, son, Badger the dog, cats Honey and Poppy and six chickens.
Following a childhood in Chester and university in Leicester, Emma worked in professional services in Manchester for 15 years. She took over Kelsall Pet & Home Care in 2016.
Tamsyn grew up in Tarvin, lived in Cornwall, South Wales and Surrey, before happily returning to her hometown. With a grown-up son at university, Tamsyn shares her home with dogs, Lola and Hugo and cat, Penny. Tamsyn had a successful career in payroll and pensions before joining Emma at Kelsall Pet & Home Care in 2026.
Emma and Tamsyn share a love of cats and dogs, with both choosing to move from corporate careers to pet care. Together they are passionate about making the pets of Kelsall and Tarvin feel safe and loved, whilst their families are away.

We know how much we worry about our own pets when we’re away, and how important it is to find a pet care professional who genuinely cares about their wellbeing.
To ensure all the animals receive quality 1-2-1 attention, we only accept clients from a small geographic area and carefully manage the volume of work we undertake.
In using us, you’ll be leaving your companion with an animal lover, who is in business primarily for the love of the job and not the financial reward.
As is standard, we are both DBS checked and fully insured.
